Gospel Truth

We teach the Gospel of Jesus faithfully, with practical application and expressed in a loving community leading to real change.

God's Love

We enjoy a stable, welcoming and caring community of people who have been transformed by God’s grace.

Real Change

Our reformed evangelical faith helps us to see that real change is possible as God works through the power of His word and through his Spirit led people.

Jesus

Jesus gives us life-changing and uplifting hope.

Church Is Back!

Dear friends, we are excited to be back to meeting at church! In light of Covid-19, however, we are now holding smaller but more frequent church services, at 8am (Swansea) or 9.15am, 10.30am and 6pm (Charlestown).

We would love you to join us, however we’re currently limited to 50 people, and bookings are essential. If you would like to attend church, please contact our senior minister, Stephen Taylor, who can help you find a time that suits you.

If you can’t get to church physically, why not check out our online services? Click here to watch this week’s message of hope from the book of Titus – or follow through one of our recent full interactive services.

For more information, please check our Facebook page.

What can I expect when I visit?

When it comes to what we are and what we offer, it’s simple.   We offer preaching that is rooted in the Bible and relevant to your daily life. We make no apology for preaching the Word of God.  We offer uplifting music, friendly child-care, and a loving church family.

Here are just a few things that are most often asked by our church guests.

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money to our church. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the atmosphere, and see if Charlestown Presbyterian could be your future church home.

How long are the services?
Most services last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
What do you have for my kids?
During our Sunday morning services, we strive to create a safe and fun environment for your children. Children join in for the early part of the church service and then leave for Kids Church part way through. All helpers have a “Working With Children Check” accreditation. Children from children from 0 – year 8 enjoy classes among kids of similar ages to learn about God and His great love. We also have crèche facilities.
Do you ask for money?

If you’re new to Charlestown Presbyterian Church we ask nothing from you. You are our guest – supporting our church is for regular members.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code at Charlestown Presbyterian Church, for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in a smart casual way; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Charlestown Presbyterian.

What kind of music should I expect to find?

We love great music that honours and glorifies God. You will enjoy the exciting way that we worship our Lord through heartfelt singing at each service. Our songs include both traditional hymns and more modern songs that honour God in a worshipful way.

Kids

We help kids and families connect with Jesus and grow in their love and service of him.

Youth

We have a diversity of young people following Jesus together.

Young Adults
