What can I expect when I visit?

When it comes to what we are and what we offer it’s simple. We offer preaching that is rooted in the Bible and relevant to your daily life. We make no apology for preaching the Word of God. We offer uplifting music, friendly child-care, and a loving church family. Here are just a few things that are most often asked by our church guests.

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give in the offering. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the atmosphere, and see if Charlestown Presbyterian might not be your future church home.

How long are the services?

Most services last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

What do you have for my kids?

During our Sunday morning services, we strive to create a safe and fun environment for your children. Children join in for the early part of the church service and then leave for Kids Church part way through. Children from Kindy – 7th grade enjoy classes among kids of similar ages to learn about God and His great love.

Do you ask for money?

If you’re NEW to Charlestown Presbyterian Church we literally want NOTHING from you. Seriously. We’ll be offended if you give any.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code at Charlestown Presbyterian Church, for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Charlestown Presbyterian.

What kind of music should I expect to find?

We love great music that honors and glorifies God. You will enjoy the exciting way that we worship our Lord through singing at each service. Our songs include both traditional hymns and choruses that honor God in a worshipful way.
