You might call Psalm 145 the a to z of praise. Because this is an acrostic psalm, a psalm that tells us how great God is by starting with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, aleph, and ending with the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet Tav and in between each sentence starts by working its way through the whole Hebrew alphabet. It’s a poetic technique that helps us to consider praising God from every single angle.
