During the week we meet together in smaller more intimate groups to study the Bible, share our joys and struggles, and pray together. We call these groups Home Groups because they mostly meet in somebody’s home. Each Home Group has a designated leader and there are groups just for women, just for men, and groups for both men and women together. Home Group is where we get to know each other much better and encourage each other in following Jesus.

When one thinks about youth ministry, it is a pretty common perception that youth ministry is about providing a social night consisting of entertainment with a bit of Bible tacked on the end. However the youth ministry team at CEPC believe that the goal of youth ministry is to build up Christian young people to
be strong followers of the Lord Jesus and this only happens when they discover the difference that Jesus’ death and resurrection makes! Our goal at Impact is to glorify God and to see young people become "perfect in Christ", to equip them and build them up to be strong followers of Jesus so that they can reach out to those who are not following Jesus and have a great time doing it.
Impact Meets every Friday night from 7-9pm.
During the Sunday morning church service we hold ‘Kids Church’ (Sunday School) for children from pre-school to Year 5 age. At the same time, a Youth Bible Study is run for children/ teenagers from Year 6 to Year 9.
The children are divided into classes according to age groups and go to separate parts of the church property for their lessons. Currently we have classes for pre school and young starters, infants and primary age. The children are taught by parents or other members from the congregation.
The regular programme for Kids Church consists of singing (for pre-school to Year 2), bible story, games and craft or written activities. The lessons are based on books from the bible (we currently use Scripture Union material) and are presented in a variety of creative ways with the teachers using different methods and resources to engage the children in learning more about God.

Sparklers Playgroup meets on Thursday mornings
from 9.30am to 11.30am in the church hall and is for children aged 0 to 5 years and their mums, dads and carers. We enjoy a variety of fun activities together such as painting, playdough, craft, stories, songs along with plenty of time for free play. Parents and carers are also able to enjoy a good chat and a well earned cuppa. For more information, please contact Suzie Chesterfield on 4946 9942 or visit Sparklers website

We are committed to telling the good news about God’s offer of salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus. We believe that the best evangelism takes place when Christians share the gospel with their friends and family. So we are committed to help people in this task by giving them training in such helpful tools as “Two Ways To Live”. From time to time we also work together to do evangelistic events to which people can invite their non-Christian friends. We use the “Introducing God” course and hold “Christianity Explained” classes as required. We also ensure that the gospel is clearly explained at our church services on a regular basis.

Is the name of a fellowship group designed for those who are in the senior age range. The people currently attending are mostly over sixty. We meet in the church hall on the third Friday of the month, commencing at
11.00am. We come together to learn, to laugh, to listen to speakers and for those who can stay to have lunch together. We have all been encouraged and blessed through
this fellowship and there is room for any who would like to join us.
This is an opportunity for women and their children (if any) to get together socially just to get to know and enjoy each other about six times a year. This is a ministry of people who seek to care for the sick, frail, shut-in and other needy members of our church family. This is mostly achieved by visiting people wherever they are. The Pastoral Care Team also facilitates a prayer chain of women who will pray for particular urgent needs within the church family. The co-ordinator is Ruth Myors on 49458484.
As a church we support a number of families and individuals who are serving overseas in cross-cultural mission. Missionaries are supported from the church budget and the congregation receives regular updates and prayer requests from our link missionaries. The convener is Kath Donovan on 49458484.
Once each month on the third Sunday we have an afternoon outing such as a picnic or swim or a walk, simply so we can spend some time together in a relaxed way to build relationships. The activity is notified in our weekly church bulletin and everyone is welcome to attend.
We believe that to build a strong community of Christians who care for each other we need to work at building relationships. Our annual church family camp is a weekend away together in
comfortable fully catered accommodation where we enjoy good Bible teaching, litres of coffee, and loads of fun.
